Laser Welding Plastic

Microcracks and/or porosity in the weld itself will result in poor surface quality and shortened life of the tool. This seamless control architecture and synchronized starting and ending results in increased productivity and a higher quality weld than with other Hybrid Laser GMAW systems. Fiber lasers can be used for a wide variety of applications, from industrial traceability to branding, on materials such as steel, aluminum, plastic, & ceramic. However, laser welding is also often used in the jewelry and medical industries to put together metals on a smaller level.

Most systems also offer the option of a cover gas, normally Argon, to reduce any discoloration, oxidation or contamination. Standard laser welding heads are designed to focus a collimated laser beam to ONE required spot size, keeping the beam path static. This standard configuration limits each setup to ONE specific application.

Laser welding is one of the oldest applications of industrial laser materials processing. As one of the most professional laser welding machine manufacturers and suppliers in China, we’re featured by quality products and competitive price. Please rest assured to buy laser welding machine for sale here from our factory. Weldeco is a compact designed laser welding machine, that offers precision welding for small-medium size parts. These laser products are reliable, cost-effective, and feature a long service life. Once installed, Aohua laser equipment is optimized for maximum production efficiency.

This shop finds stable milling speeds quickly using a systematic pattern of test cuts. Entrapment of gases during plastic injection is a problem that continues to challenge the design capabilities of moldmakers. The increasing complexity of tooling demanded by today’s manufacturers dictates that many areas inside molds are quite difficult to vent adequately. If unique solutions are necessary, such as special feed systems, then our customer-specific solutions will come into play.

LightWELD is a Class IV laser system and routine precautions are required for the safe operation of the equipment. Operator protective equipment including welding gloves, welding shield and 1070 nm laser-safe glasses are required. Electro-optical conversion rate-high laser light output per second is optional. Not only can do pulse welding, but also continuous welding at high frequencies. A variety of hand-held laser heads are available for various needs such as external welding, internal welding, right-angle welding, narrow-side welding, and large spot welding, etc.

Consequently, the processing speed is maximized; material costs and operation costs are minimized. This type of laser welding is commonly used in Jewellery, Dental implants, auto industries, transducers, Electronic compo-nents, mobile industries, hardware. W.S.I. is staffed to engineer and perfect the manufacturing quality and price point your looking for. When volumes reach R.O.I. , Weldlogic Inc. will offer you the equipment and developed manufacturing process to ensure a smooth transition into your manufacturing floor.

The design allows you to adjust the height of the microscope and welding chamber from approximately 50″H to 53″H to accommodate your specific height. The Neutec® PulsePoint™ Studio™ Plus 150 Laser Welder offers a maximum pulse power and duration of 25mS at 150 joules. Plus, it has a spot diameter of 0.3–1.5mm that’s a lot stronger, more intense, and precise. With these specifications, the model offers a longer duty cycle and a lot more power for jewelers who work on more demanding projects.

Fiber lasers are now widely used for welding of a very wide range of thicker metals. The near infrared 1070 nm wavelength has definite advantages over the incumbent CO2 laser technology due to the lower reflectivity of metals at this wavelength. This is particularly true for high reflectivity metals such as aluminum and copper where high power fiber lasers are used to weld up to 15 mm, these thicknesses have not previously been welded with other lasers.

The factors that determine the cross section of the weld joint are the laser’s beam quality and the characteristics of the focusing optics. A parabolic welding head is a better choice for higher-power welding because the mirror is less susceptible to damage and can be readily cleaned with a mirror polishing cream. Also, because the back of the mirror can be directly cooled with water, it is much less likely to be damaged by thermal stress or change its focal characteristics with varying laser power. Automotive manufacturers, Tier 1 auto suppliers, and other high-volume manufacturers have been implementing laser welding successfully for years, but it is much less prevalent in small and medium-size businesses.
